Bright Ideas provides mentoring support to individuals ranging from inexperienced fundraisers, to Chief Executives and trustees. This support allows individuals to improve their own skills as well as the effectiveness of their organisation’s fundraising.

As a small international NGO we really benefited from the professional inputs of The Bright Ideas Partnership. They provided constructive feedback on three of our funding applications to the Guernsey Overseas Aid Commission, which helped to provide consistency across all three bids. Having an expert set of eyes really helped to gain a fresh perspective. We were really pleased with their feedback.

For example, The Bright Ideas Partnership supported a seconded member of staff in Victim Support to research and submit funding applications, develop a fundraising strategy and co-ordinate fundraising across all of the Victim Support London borough schemes. This resulted in a number of successes, including securing £119,332 from London Councils to promote volunteering in the run up to the 2012 Olympics.
